Explore industrial applicationsWorking process of spring cone crusher
The ASTON multi cylinder hydraulic cone crusher utilizes a continuous gyration mechanism to process tough feeds efficiently. Driven by an eccentric sleeve, the mantle periodically approaches and recedes from the concave—combining intense extrusion and bending forces to fracture rock, followed by rapid gravity discharge for continuous downstream processing.
Pre-screened raw material is fed into the top hopper and evenly distributed across the crushing chamber via the distributor plate, maintaining a choked feed condition for optimal crushing density and uniform liner wear.
The electric motor transmits power through a fluid coupler to the bevel gear set, rotating the eccentric sleeve. As the sleeve revolves around the rigid, stationary main shaft, it compels the mantle to perform continuous, high-force gyratory movements.
As the moving cone approaches the stationary concave, materials are trapped and subjected to intense inter-particle crushing. The combination of compressive force, impact, and shearing continuously fractures the rocks into precise, uniform sizes as they descend through the crushing zone.
Particles meeting the setting requirement pass through the discharge opening at the bottom. If unbreakable foreign matter enters the chamber, the spring safety system momentarily compresses to lift the upper frame, automatically clearing the blockage without stopping operation.
Spring cone crusher crusher main components
The ASTON spring cone crusher combines heavy-duty structural components with automated control systems for maximum operational stability. Featuring a ribbed cast steel frame, hydraulic setting adjustments, and automated safety interlocks, every part is built to withstand high crushing stresses while minimizing maintenance downtime.
The stationary main shaft directly absorbs massive crushing stresses, while the precision-machined eccentric sleeve drives the cone to gyrate with maximum force and rotational stability.
Cast from premium wear-resistant alloy steel with thickened profiles, the mantle and concave liners deliver optimized cavity geometry and extended wear life under harsh abrasion.
Supports the gyrating cone assembly and evenly distributes multi-directional crushing loads, ensuring smooth mechanical operation and preventing localized wear.
Heavy-duty springs automatically lift the frame to clear tramp iron, while the hydraulic motor and sleeve allow fast, continuous setting adjustments to control product size.
