Explore industrial applicationsWorking process of European impact crusher
The ASTON European impact crusher operates through a seamless, step-by-step reduction process designed for high-capacity aggregate production. From initial material feeding into the crushing chamber, to high-speed blow bar impact, multi-stage plate rebounding, and final calibrated discharge, this integrated workflow transforms raw rock into high-quality cubical stone while ensuring a steady, continuous material flow for downstream processing lines.
Raw material enters the heavy-duty crushing chamber and immediately intercepts the path of the high-speed rotating rotor. Heavy-duty blow bars strike the incoming rock with immense kinetic energy, initiating immediate primary fracture.
Propelled by intense centrifugal kinetic force, the shattered rock fragments are hurled against high-manganese impact plates lining the chamber. This high-density rebounding action induces secondary fracturing and continuous particle-on-particle collision.
As material circulates within the optimized crushing cavity, dense turbulence is generated between the rotor zone and impact racks. The rock undergoes multiple high-frequency blows until it reaches the targeted particle size.
Fully crushed cubic stone passes through the adjustable discharge gap between the rotor and impact aprons. The resulting end-product features low internal tension, minimal flakiness, and highly uniform particle gradation.
European impact crusher main components
The ASTON European impact crusher is engineered with heavy-duty structural elements to withstand high-kinetic impacts and harsh crushing environments. Key internal components—including the main shaft, rotor assembly, impact frames, lining plates, spring assemblies, and safety locking blocks—are precisely integrated to ensure maximum operational uptime and simplified replacement.
Optimized for high metal utilization and swift installation, the blow bars are cast from premium high-chromium iron or manganese alloy steel. This heavy-duty metallurgy delivers exceptional wear resistance against intense impact and thermal stress.
Engineered through precise heat-treatment techniques, these compaction blocks maintain consistent chemical stability and ultra-high tensile strength, securely locking the blow bars to the rotor under heavy centrifugal force.
Constructed from welded heavy steel plate and lined with replaceable wear resistant liners. Option for grate-slotted impact surfaces allows fine particles to bypass the chamber early, boosting throughput while optimizing energy consumption.
Utilizing heavy-walled seamless and seam-welded square steel tubing, this structural frame reinforces internal impact housing and support beams, providing high torsional rigidity against continuous mechanical vibrations.
